(Houston) - We are pleased to announce Mariachi Festival and Mariachi 7 Leguas will be hosting the 1st Annual Mariachi Festival on September 21, 2024, at the McAllen Performing Arts Center. This event will be in celebration of Mariachi 7 Leguas’ 20th anniversary. This event will also showcase the talented University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Ballet Folklorico and an all-star cast of mariachi students from high schools throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
Seating for the mariachi festival is based on sponsorship level and date of payment. All sponsorship levels can be found in the attached document.
Mariachi Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded on August 9, 2019. Our mission is to promote our Hispanic culture through the arts. With your support, we will continue to have events that we all can be proud of. Our long-term goal is to make Texas known for first-class events featuring some of the best mariachi and ballet folklórico groups in the country.

About Mariachi 7 Leguas
Mariachi 7 Leguas is an award-winning mariachi group from McAllen, Texas. It was founded in 2004 by Emilio Santos. Most of the members of Mariachi 7 Leguas are graduates from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Mariachi Program. Recently, the group performed in an international competition in Mexico and they won Best Performing Mariachi. They were recognized as one of the best mariachis in the world and were awarded a key to the city of Tecalitlán, Jalisco, Mexico.
About University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Ballet Folklorico
The UTRGV Ballet Folklorico is a 50-member organization comprised of students who are pursuing degrees in a variety of disciplines. The dance company was founded in 1970 by Dr. Amilda Thomas and it is currently under the direction of Miguel Angel Peña. In 2006, the Ballet Folklorico was one of 100 outstanding Texas artists chosen for inclusion on the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Roster Program. The UTRGV Ballet Folklorico has toured throughout the United States and internationally.
About All-Star Youth Mariachi Group
The All-Star Youth Mariachi Group is made up of high school students from across the Rio Grande Valley selected by members of Mariachi 7 Leguas. These students have come together specifically to perform at the 1st Annual Mariachi Festival.

Sponsorship Levels
Presenting Sponsor - $10,000: 30 invites to reception, which includes food and drinks, 30 VIP seats at concert (orchestra level), stage presentation, logo on printed material, photos with Performers, logo on stage PowerPoint, full page advertisement in program, logo on website.
Corporate Sponsor - $5,000: 20 invites to reception, which includes food and drinks, 20 VIP seats at concert (orchestra level), photos with performers, logo on stage PowerPoint, full page advertisement in program, logo on website.
VIP Sponsor - $2,000: 10 invites to reception, which includes food and drinks, 10 VIP seats at concert (orchestra level), photos with performers, logo on stage PowerPoint, logo in program, logo on website.
