About Mariachi Imperial de America
Mariachi Imperial de America is a multi-generational, award-winning mariachi based in Houston Texas.
The group has been in existence for over 35 years and is now directed by Jose Longoria. It is recognized
for its energy infused performances and ability to play songs in other languages including Mandarin,
Hindi, Armenian, and English. Under the direction of Jose Longoria, the group has recorded four albums
entitled: Son de Ambiente, Mas Alla de Mi Mexico, Que Bonita Musica, and Recibe Hasta El Cielo.
About Eduardo Antonio Trevino
Eduardo Antonio Trevino was winner of the Mariachi Festival 2024 National Mariachi Youth Vocalist Competition in the elementary school category. He was featured on America's Got Talent - Season 18, where he finished in the top 5. He is a resident of Humble, Texas.
About Mexico en Danzas Grupo Folklorico
Founded in 1999 by Isaac Ledesma, Mexico en Danzas Grupo Folklórico (MEDGF) opened its doors to
dancers of all ages eager to work towards learning and preserving the many Mexican folk traditions. In
its trajectory, MEDGF has had the privilege of participating in many private and community events,
including: Fiestas Patrias and Cinco de Mayo celebrations at the Miller Outdoor Theater, the Go Tejano Mariachi Invitational, and the Houston Texans Hispanic Heritage celebrations.
About All-Star High School Mariachi Group
Houston’s All-star Mariachi was formed in the summer of 2024 in connection with the University of
Houston’s two-week mariachi summer camp under the direction of Jose Longoria. Participating students
came from various public-school districts including Houston, Aldine, Klein, Pasadena, Humble, Cy-Fair,
and Conroe. This outstanding summer camp hosted 60 talented advanced participants and 20 of the best
performers were selected to perform at Houston’s spectacular 5th Annual Mariachi Festival.
